The only way it will help you lose weight is this mixture has less calories than what you normally eat at breakfast. A tablespoon of honey has about 64 calories in it. But neither honey nor lemon has any magic properties to speed up metabolism....and you may end up feeling hungry a couple of hours later. A whole grain cereal with low fat milk or a breakfast bar, lowfat yogurt smoothie and fruit or egg beaters with whole wheat toast. It's also important too, not to reduce your intake too low (depending on your age, but more than likely no less than 1400 calories per day)...this can slow down your metabolism and make weight loss even more difficult. Increasing muscle mass through exercise and strength training will increase your metabolism and therefore, allow you to have more calories and still maintain your weight. Not a whole lot .. you should have a good (low carb) breakfast to get your metabolism fired up and buring the calories. Something like cereals of grain bread.
To loose weight - reduce the carbs (sugar, refined products, fast foods and other crap like that) and eat the salads, white meats, fish and wholegrains.
The pounds will come off - especually if u combine with excercise.

yes you can lose weight with this but the weight loss is very temporary. It will come backalmost as quick as it goes off. The best way to lose weight is diet and exercise. If you want to detox you can have fruits and vegetables, preferably organic.
