Petsmart, Petco, Savannah Smiles Petique.com or Roxyhuntcoutore. Why would you buy from these stores?

I would be very careful when shopping on-line or even in the standard pet store when finding a pet. The problem comes with not knowing where an animal comes from. There are puppy farms that treat the breader animals horrible.
We have bread dogs to want to be around humans, but these dogs never see anything outside of thier cages.
It's very important to make sure that you know where your pet comes from.
Also, I would recommend adopt-a-pet or the humane society, even if you want something pure bread, becuase there are so many great animals that need homes out there.

I have 4 dogs 3 different breeds
the last 2 sites offer nothing for 3 of my dogs and for the 4 th dog I may be able to find some thing that fits but in my opinion that most is too frou-frou and not everyday for my male crested other than maybe jammies but they almost twice the price what I pay for custom made ones, as for collars I make my own, as well as coats for my greyhounds which I also sell, I looked at the outerwear on the Savanha site the plaid and walk about coats, Ay almost $80 US, the price is outrageous. ,

Petsmart if I do need something like grooming supplies I buy instore, and use a local petstore for food since it carries higher quality foods, so really none of them I would buy online from

Now that does not mean I am totally utilitarian and resort to just blah

for example Winnie in a red snake skin leather collar and fleece playsuit, the collar can be worn daily, and oufit was 14 US and totally functional in providing warmth and suitable for regular daily use and he can be a dog in it http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/mleg2001/the%20gang/P1010007.jpg

both coats here sized for large dogs and lined in quilted satin and combined selling cost of both is only slightly more than one of those tiny coats

The collars on the savanha site are 5/8 inch wide but the they sell upto to 23 " neck size for $135 problem one is strength and width totally unsuitable for a dog that has that big a nck and two does not have the substance needed for a big dog to really look good, it would be like having a thread for a collar on a chihuahua
The vendor may know what looks good and is suitable on a small breed but hasn't got a clue when it comes to large breeds, and safety needed to ensure their throat does not get damaged or dog escapes because the hardware is not designed to meet a larger breeds strength, for safety they should have stopped at a 14 to 15" inch neck size with that narrow a collar. If someone want me to make a larger or smaller collar that is not suitable especially when it comes to safety I will tell them no and explain why

When you sell a larger sized collar it needs to be strong and wider and harware must be strong enough to ensure it will not break should the dog lunge or panick but that does not mean elegance has to suffer as a result
