grape juice (natural one) is good. tannins are more concentrated in the skin and seeds. However wine is better because the benefitial agents (tannines) are more developed through fermentation and wine maduration processes.
Red wines contain the most amount of tannines.

it would be interesting for you to read this too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tannin#Tea
the first paragraph is merely chemistry but if you scroll down you will see tannins in different foods, including wine.
you can read too that tea (camelia sinensis), which is the normal tea you drink, also has high amount of tannins.

wine is actually probably better for you. grape juice, and any juice in generaly are really empty calories and excess sugar for your body. My brother in med school always tells me that i should eat real fruit instead of juice. A glass of OJ for example is well over 200 calories vs. an orange that has like 70 and tons more fiber.

wine on the other hand, has virtually no nutritional value what so ever. it is empty calories, with no sugar, no carbs, etc. However, there are studies shown that red wine in moderation can help your health.
