trying to download macromedia/flash player but it keeps telling to check all browsers to be closed so where do I check that windows2000

They are asking you to close any windows you have open that are looking at the internet but from memory flash installs while you are on macromedias website. You just have to wait until you see a picture in the empty box. It can take a while if your on dial-up
