Adam & Eve

It dates back to the introduction of Judaism and later Christianity into the world culture. Most cultures and religions saw the human form as beautiful and sexuality as a spiritual concept. Even the early church maintained these beliefs as is evidenced by the artwork of the time, which usually showed religious scenes with naked people. As the Roman Catholic church evolved, so did their view of the human body and sexuality. The overall view became that nudity was one of the original sins and therefore is evil within itself. Sexuality became attributed to the devil's work. It is these beliefs that America was founded upon and continues to operate with.

You know, just the US is afraid of nudity. I don't know why. People in England and France are so secure with it and nudity isn't taboo over there. You see it everywhere. They are more relaxed.
