You bet!

What I'll never figure out is how are so many people conned by the Qua'ran? The Old Testament is bad enough, but that Qua'ran is just a rambling and an account of a War with a lot of "Revelations" which are easily identifiable as lies! Yet, so many Muslims swear by it?!?

Sheesh!

During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.

The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so named
because he has "Manas" a mind higher than that of the
animals which realises the divinity in creation. It was
present since the creation of human beings. Religion is
the characteristic feature of most of the human beings.
It is as eternal and and as unchanging as the Almighty.
Disbelief by a few will not affect it.

Although a majority of humans profess some variety of
spiritual or religious belief, some are irreligious,
lacking or rejecting belief in the supernatural or
spiritual. Although most religions and spiritual
beliefs are clearly distinct from science on both a
philosophical and methodological level, the two are not
generally considered to be mutually exclusive; a
majority of humans hold a mix of both scientific and
religious views. The distinction between philosophy and
religion, on the other hand, is at times less clear.

I think it would be a close call between religion and that guy in Canada who got people to pay him 19.95 for a penny. He advertised that people could buy "Authentic, historical, American copper coins". He did a real good job describing these coins. When people got their coins in the mail, they opened the box, and found a penny inside. What is great about the scam is that the guy selling them won the suit against him since he wasn't really guilty of false advertisement as those filing suit claimed.

not really, the majority of hosptials in India are named after chritian saints and staffed by a lot of christians including nuns.

also, the majority of the best schools in india are catholic schools.

it may be easy to sit infront of the computer and come out with such easy statements but maybe you should get involved with a christian charity or any religious charity and see the work they do before judging people.

Yes and No, the idea behind religion is great, but then man twisted it to gain control, power, and make a profit over people, what else could be used to make people kill for you, use the name of God, but don't tell the truth give them false hopes.
Religion was good, but now we need faith in God, the truth is still there in religion, you just have to work hard to find it.

I believe people need Faith ( in a supreme being, or an after-life, or in Good over Evil) but Religions, created and structured by man, has confused this simple requirement so much that we are now told we can only prove our faith in certain ways (attending church, converting non-believers, and worse) so Faith has lost its meaning.
