How long were you going out before you were introduced to the parents?

I met my hubby in the July and I met his parents and family at his 18th birthday party in October of the same year, I also stayed at his house the same night, so you can imagine how nervous I was but it couldn't have been so bad as we are now married with a 12yr old child!!!!

With my parents he met my mom and step dad right away. My dad didn't meet him until a few weeks after we started going out. I got to meet his parents a the first month with started dating. so it all depends.
It's not something you should worry about, just let things happen and go do it when the time seems right.

We had been dating for a few months before I met the folks. He doesn't take "dates" to meet the family. Once he decided he was serious about me and wanted a relationship beyond casual dating, then it was time to meet everyone.

When my husband and I started dating he met my family after 2 weeks. I didn't meet his family for 5 months. They lived in the same town as us but he tried to keep me away from them as long as possible and I love him for that. They are crazy people. I think they found my husband under a rock and raised him as their own. He is nothing like them.

my mothers and fathers have in basic terms met one in all my girlfriends at a occasion,so no. however the former day,my niece(17) visited along with her new boyfriend and that i completely embarrassed her by using telling boyfriend to not deliver her for pizza because it gave her undesirable wind,she suggested i'm not very humorous,yet i dont realize it made me snigger.
