is your grandson at school?? how old is he?? not that it should really matter how old he is, no one has the right to hit a child, but i wouldnt sit around i would go back round there, wait for her to get in, and speak to her again!

Is the second hitting from a completely different boy with different parents? Or the same family?

I would certainly try to take it further if I were you, in the meantime try to improve your grandson's self esteem because if people come to his rescue all the time, he'll never learn to achieve the confidence to deal with difficult social situations.

Why did they hit him? You should confront your grandson in a heart to heart and make sure he has not brought this upon himself. Call in his friends and listen to what they have to say. It is very possible that this little angel of yours chages dramatically when he is out of your sight.
