I have been going out with my boyfriend for nearly 3 years and we love each other so much, while i have a best guy friend whom i know for almost 5 years. I am very close to both but each in a different way. This year my best guy friend kept on complimenting me on how good i look and how i have changed and other stuff, i just thought that he was being nice until he asked me if i was going to break up with my boyfriend because he has been wanting to go out with me since ages. I used to have a major crush on him a long time ago but i didnt show it becasue i didnt want to ruin our friendship. My current boyfriend loves me so much and i love him so much too but now i am confused, it is like loving to guys at once. Help, what do i do?

My opinion....if the guy friend was so "into you" for all of these years, then why didn't he say something earlier? Sometimes people want everything but what they can have. Stay with your boyfriend....especially if you guys love each other like you say. Tell this guy friend of yours to keep his comments to himself when it comes to your relationship and things will be much easier. Plus, you don't want to risk losing both a boyfriend that loves you along with a best friend.

He is a friend for a reason and there is a reason it did not work out along time ago. The friend probably is only interested in you because you are with someone else, so it is like a contest to win your attention and affections. However, if he really was interested in you romantically then he would have let you know long ago. Please do not ruin the wonderful relationship with your boyfriend just to pursue a crush that is basically based on flirtation and nothing more. However, maybe you should ask yourself if you really love your boyfriend because I do not think you would be thinking about this other guy if you truly love him and only him. Thus, if you are confused about your boyfriend you should discuss this with him because it is not fair to either of you.

That is stupid girl and you know it. What kind of friend would tell you to break up with a boyfriend that loves you so he can "get with you" because he's wanted to for ages? He's not really your friend, and that is code for, he wants to sleep with you. Don't ruin your relationship because some dude friend of yours wants some action. I think you should distance yourself from this "so called" guy best friend of yours, and I'm speaking from experience when I tell you that it will cause problems with your current relationship. At the very least, you should think of your boyfriends love for you and if you do this to him, leave him for your best friend, you will ruin that and you might not ever get it back.

If your boyfriend is a good man and you have another guy you want to be with, then you should do him a favor a leave the him before he gets hurt otherwise you're being selfish.
on the other hand if you want to stay with your man now, you should tell your 'best guy friend' to respect you and the relationship you're in now and let him know his time has passed.

Stay with your current boyfriend. Stay friends with your current best guy friend. If it doesn't work out, you still have your best guy friend to be there, and possibly maybe more. If you break up with your current boyfriend, who you have the potential to develop a great relationship with, and go out with your best guy friend.....it may not work out with him. Meaning, you will have neither...they will both be ex's....and that my friend, you will never be able to change. You may end up being friends with both of them in the long run, if you decide to go out with your best guy friend and it doesn't work out with either.......but long run...meaning possible YEARS....and don't forget if they have girlfriends, when you want to be just friends, there's practically no chance in hell that will happen. I know this is more then you asked, but you have to look at al lthe possibilities.

1. what u r doing is a great mistake, u got a boy friend who loves u a lot, then what for r u having a crush on ur best friend, u cant able to sail in 2 boats at a same time, better cut ur friendship with guy, his main intention was to go out with u and i think he is not in love with u its just lust.

Unless you don't love him stay with your boyfriend, your friend had plenty of chance to ask you out, what has he been doing for five years.Sounds like your friend may have been dumped, now he sees you as a easy mark because he has known you for so long.

u hav aserious problem ..but u know why doesn't ur guy friend tell u these things before now he has no right to do that and he knows that u love ur bf...don't loose either of them tell ur guy friend that u can't cheat both of them and that u lov him just as a friend and that u respect his friendship
