It's getting unbelievable in this country now.
The Earth is going to get warmer as it has done over billions of years, it's part of the planet's cycle, and there's nothing we can do about it. Yet this is a fantastic opportunity for governments to grab the public by the balls and tax us for everything it can connect to environmental issues.
I drive a Landrover Discovery and it suit me JUST FINE, it has seven seats (I have four children, so there's plenty of room!) it's in fantastic condition and has passed all emission tests. They can tax me to high heaven if they like but there's NO WAY I'm giving up my car. Maybe when the Government, and all connected flunkies, quit driving up to Downing street in their fleet of brand new Range Rovers (including all the security who drive them too) maybe people can take them more seriously.
The tax is a money making scam on the back of global issues and I bet the Government is delirious at the fact there's NOTHING you or I can do about it.

i understand. Like those "Airfaire return to Malaga for 20p" supplies. They upload lots tax it finally ends up being approximately £70!! i've got by no ability had a trip out of the country by way of this taxation (and the reality that my already meagre wages are taxed to the hilt.) i like procuring each and every man or woman else, fantastically scroungers, to get dental/scientific care and yet by way of me having to attend 5 years to even sign in with an NHS dentist, i prefer considerable oral surgical operation. LOVING the way this c*nt-ry gets its priorities splendid (definite, I recommend it how I spell it!) There extremely is little incentive to artwork at the instant while we see so little of our very own earnings. individuals are working 60 hour weeks to place a roof over their heads and that they are so knackered from working and undesirable from taxation it is approximately all they are in a position to do to easily sleep!!

If it exists, it will be taxed. Water, air, food, clothes... Income, outcome, present, past and future...
The question is what happens with your taxes? If you're getting essentially "free" health care, education or other social services, taxes can be worth it.
In Canada, I pay 26% federal and 22% provincial income tax, employment insurance, pension, and union dues. Out of my salary, I bring in less than half. *sigh* Stupid taxes.

George Harrison got it so right when in 1965, he penned the song "Taxman." Listen to it if you haven't heard it and you will see what I mean.
I think though, us taxpayers should get priority in the NHS over those who scrounge off us. I have to go without central heating to be able to afford to pay for someone else's flipping giro.

How about a tax on: muslims in Europe who offer comfort and support to jihadis, diversity schemes that cause chaos in government departments, on every knife or gun attack in London, and on binge drinking.
