The type of guy that builds a new building with his name on it at his old high school? The kind of guy that adopts 10 kids and feeds the the needy? the type of guy that gives people jobs and heals his family and people around him? the type of guy that give a ton of money away and becomes a governor or monsignor?

I do want to make a difference in the world, but I don't care to be "important". My actions are small, but I think they make the world better.

Of course we all do. There is a quote from Reggie Jackson some years ago in which he answered a question about why he seemed to have such a large ego. " The big man has an ego, the little man is all ego." It is amusing to me when people like Bill Gates wants to give away much of his money now. Of course he could have charged a lot less for his products in the first place, but then he wouldn't have a lot of other peoples money to give away now. Quite funny really.
He maybe seeking after salvation.

When I was younger I thought I would really do something special, something out of the ordinary for the world. While growing up I started to appreciate normality. My goal now is to be as normal as possible, because I am just a human being and normality is a gift.

Do you mean a megalomaniac or a benefactor...I've never really considered myself either on a scale that would make that much difference yet anyway, perhaps my situation will change. It's easier to be a benefactor if you have a whole heap of money you don't really need but I'm not really there yet.

I think everyone should think of themself in this way
we should all have dreams of helping the world

what is that saying ?
if you aim for the moon you may reach the stars ?
I like that

Yes, but truly that type of person does many good things, but does so as annonymously as possible.
