Maybe it is just me being a bit picky, but has anyone noticed that a large amount of questions and answers left by religious people are grammatically incorrect, poorly spelt, and quite incoherant.

Surely if you are trying to show people that they are intellectually inferior to you (because they don't have god), then isn't having a basic grasp of the english language the first requirement?

Now I know this is a generalisation. There are some very intelligent and capable theists out there, but there are some who let down your side. And I also know that there are some atheists who are the same. It just seems to be more theists.

I may need to point out that I am Australian and we do spell some words differently.

I have noticed the same thing. I have been around a while under another name. I have said several times that is it almost impossible to take a question seriously when the inquirer is barely literate. I wonder if there is some religious precept against using spell check?

You're assuming that all people using this forum; use English as a first language, are adults with a strong command of the English language and aren't here to pull your chain.

This forum has a bunch of young people trolling around when they should be paying attention in class.

Was installing computers in school a good idea...makes one wonder doesn't it.

So what if they can't spell. Trying to help someone out spiritually,is the main goal for some of us Christians - not to teach an English class!
It seems to me your just trying to bring down religion and make it into a bad thing.
I also don't like it when people are forcing their opinion like you, but don't have the proof to back it up- you spelled wrong, too!!!!!!

maybe spelling and grammar just isn't as important to some
maybe what is more important is the message they are trying to convey
and I don't recall any theist suggesting that atheists are intellectually inferior
does this question reflect your own opinion a little too much perhaps ?

I doubt it - I see very little good grammar from anyone. I think it more has to do with age. Also, I think that many intellectual religious people have learned to keep their views closer to their chests.

They are typing mistakes, we don't usually spell check.
The same amount of people who are not religious make these mistakes

BTW....you misspelled "generalization"
