My 5 yr. old sisters 17 yr. male babysitter massages her nude and bathes her?
I want your alls opinions. My 5 year old sister loves to be massaged by her 17 year old (male) babysitter who I will call "Tad". He takes her clothes off (he says it is easier that way) massages her bare back and her bare butt and legs. The back and leg part I have no problem with but I do think it is inapproprite for Tad to massage her butt. He also baths her and dresses her which I see a problem with both. I told my mom my opinion but she says that Tad is a good person and would not think of sexually molesting her. I do know Tad is a good person and I really dont think Tad would do anything inapproprite to her, I just think it is inapproprite for a17 yr. teen boy to massage a 5 year olds buttocks, bath her, and dress her . What do you think?

A massage is fine but the nudity during it has got to go. He may be a "good person" but no one really knows what's in another person's heart. Lots of people that would have been classified that way have turned out to do horrible things. I think even if his intent was innocent, the massage just makes me cringe.
Here's a test. If your mother were to tell him to cut out the naked massages and the bathing, how would he react. A good babysitter would honor the parent's request without a fuss. Someone who's intent was not honorable would put up a big fuss and do everything to change the parent's mind. Tell your mother to do this and see his reaction. Better safe than sorry.

I think it is inappropriate simply because of her age. Once a child is 4 or 5 they should be able to bathe themselves, for the most part. They should only really need help with their hair.
As for the massage, COMPLETELY inappropriate! At 5 years old she should not be stripping down so that a 17 year old can massage her! If your parents won't listen, I suggest keeping an eye on him, just in case...

He should not be allowed under ANY circumstances to see her naked. She is 5, fully capable of all basic necessities of dressing herself, potty by herself and so forth. There is no reason she needs a "massage" at 5. Especially in the nude. No matter what you may think of "Tad" it is extremely inappropriate. You never know what any person is thinking. I was your sisters age when I was molested by my own fathers step brother! I was threatend with violence and it went on for years because at that age I was scared and also did not fully understand that what was happening was WRONG! Had someone stood up for me it wouldn't have went on for so long! Speak up!

A parent of four. I think that massage her without clothes on is wrong and your mom shouldn't allow it. Some agencies could see that as child abuse. Your mom should put her foot down about that. Touching like that is stimulating to a guy, hence all the messaging oils in sex stores. But as far as bathing and dressing the child that's in the description of babysitting. That's like saying a father of his daughter shouldn't change his baby girls diapers or bathe them.

I find this quite strange for anyone to do to a young child. Let alone a 17 year old man. The parents should SERIOUSLY look at this and take the step to correct this issue.
Although it may be innocent massage, consider this:
Why would a man wants to rub the naked body and butt of a young child?
Does this unsettle you?

Ok, I have two girls and I don't even massage their butts. Why does he need to do this? The dressing her is part of babysitting, especially if he is putting her to bed. I would keep a closer eye on him, he could be totally harmless, or there could be something wrong.

Tell your mom again and again that its not right! Men watching kids is cool, even giving her a bath great but massaging?!?!? She 5 she can dress herself!!! If your mom isn't going to say something you should! Tell him what you think about him massaging your little sister.

This is not right. Your mom shouldn't have a 17-yr male to babysit. Period. And then baby girl should be completely clad. Yeah, bad for your mom. As for him being a nice guy...well, people who knew Ted Bundy said the same thing about him! If it were my baby girl, I would be calling the police. This is the actions of a future predator.

I give my kids massages like on their legs or back with lotion and their always dressed I would have a serious problem if someone did that to my child I'd have some words with him to where he'd never come back.
