For example,
1. Take money, food, item from one individual never give back.
2. Take from the environment
3. There many others examples, if you can list them
4. Call it people who can work, but depend on the state
Don't people realise, what we take, we must give back, call it law of exchange, law of compensation, law of karma.
We do work someone, we expect to be reward in some way.

I'm one of those who gives. I get very little back, and I personally find that the nicer I am the more crap fate chucks at me. Sometimes I wish I could be nasty just to see if my luck would change for the better.

The world seems to be filled with greedy people in the present day. We all are to a certain extent.
I think it involves the way we feel as people and the state of the world and the people in power.
We all feel very small and unimportant, so whatever we can get, we take. I like to give back when I can, recycling, charity and such. It just never seems enough. Also, u then wonder why, when people around you aren't doin a thing to improve the situation.
Not reslly an answer, just backing up your question. Good question, not sure if anyone can really give an answer. Humans have evolved into cruel, selfish creatures.......

Its easy to take something and not give back. I totally agree with you. We live in a secular society, were some people are all out for their own personal gain. I think that people do not relise that there is no such thing as 'a free lunch'. Even if you don't physically pay for something, someone else will be picking up the bill some where else. This can often mean that while someone is gaining something, someone else is suffering.
I think people need to see that their consequences of taking something whether it is from another person, or the state that will affect other people someone some where else

well if this has been a rule that is common in every country I am sure that every person will give back for something they took. If not people are tend to be more selfish and they only think about themselves. They think if you are truly happy why do you need to worry about others.
But I agree with what you say. Because we must learn to give something for whatever we take. Otherwise the one who is always willing to give will always give but he will return nothing. This is not fair.

I used to be a kind and giving individual and would help anyone. Then I realized people see this as a weakness that can be exploited. So I am now a mean selfish taker. (like most people)

Because today's society is teaching people that they are not responsible for their actions. There is no accountability and no sense of responsibility to others or the planet. If we got back to requiring our kids to be responsible and accept that they must do chores and be kind to others.....it would change - maybe-hopefully

Do you mean most people you know?
Because most people I know, give back to the world 10 fold, they do volunteer work, charity fundraising, kind gestures to their community, donations, adoption of animals and children.
I choose not to be friends with the other kind of people.
