I'm just curious which are the most common blood types - I've heard that O is the most common and that AB is rare, I just wanted to see if this is true!?

Also, can you say where your from, so I can see if it differs depending on where you are from??

O neg which is more rare but not very very rare.
Where one lives should make no difference as the blood groups are the same all over the world.

O positive. I'm caucasian, of mostly Irish descent, from the USA, born in New York City, living for the past 30 years in Texas.

My wife is A negative. She's a Texas native, and is a plurality of Irish descent.

B
Theres lots of interesting information on the blood transfusion web page
http://www.blood.co.uk/pages/secrets_in_blood.html
about the distribution of different types
And there is a theory that different types respond to different foods (makes sense when you think about the historical influence)
A chap called Peter J D'Adamo wrote a book 'Eat Right For Your Type' with lists of foods. One day I'll try it, but I can't face eating rabbit and venison right now!

I am A+ and in the US, but of Western European descent if you look back far enough.

I have to say, I repressed my first two reflex answers:

2. Wet
