As you see logic gates have comparators and the output is dependent on the input ,so if an opamp does the same job by just the difference of amplifying the current then why cant it have the symbol of a triangle .

Because the op-amp can be modelled in a feedback block diagram as a gain or a multiplier, and gain blocks are triangles in this convention.
