I am currently using a 2GB SD card in my camera. As I take a lot of AVI movies along with my stills, I would like to use a larger capacity card such as the new 4gb SDHC cards, but I do not know if it they are compatible with my Canon S3 1S camera. Does someone out there have a similar experience with this?

Thank you

The S3 IS can use 4GB SDHC cards without a problem. People in user forums have confirmed that everything works, and here's Canon's promise that the S3 plays nice with SDHC cards (all the way up to 32GB): http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelTechSpecsAct&fcategoryid=144&modelid=13077
Just keep the speed in mind. A class 2 card (with a write speed of 2MB/sec.) should be okay for regular shooting and video but if you do a lot of continuous shooting, you'll be happier with a class 4 card (4MB/sec.)
