My question is: Would your border collie protect you when you're in danger? Even if it's the most playful and energetic border collie? Would it sense when something is wrong?

Border Collies are really smart and intuitive and because they are a herding breed they can think of you as thier flock and sense something is amiss and then take care of business. :)

That is hard to predict. Most dogs are protective of the ones they love when danger occurs.

yes they will scare away a robber or injure him or her bad they could if the person looks into the dogs eyes the dog could hypnotize the person and they will probably sense if something was wrong
