The fact that there is strife within and among the churches MAY be one of the signs of the end times.
The folks at Family Radio believe the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.
For example see the book “Time Has an End” on line at:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_cont.html
This group, whose primary teacher is one Harold Camping, also believes the Church Age has ended in 1988 and believers are to come out of the churches as they are now under the control of malevolent forces now that the Tribulation has begun. According to this group, this is why there is so much strife between and within church groups.
See the book Time Has an End, Ch. 10:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_ch10.html
That said, the online audio lectures at Family Radio, are illuminating and worth a listen:
See: http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/echoes/frame/download/download.html
Finally, for the offline version of the Family Radio nightly call in show, where folks ask questions about the bible to Mr. Camping, see:
http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/forum/frame/
I am not endorsing Family Radio’s doctrines, but one is able to learn quite a bit by listening to these materials.

Soon. only one sign that need to be done.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matthew 24:21
and
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Matthew 24:29
King James Version
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:30
King James Version

It is not that those who are not christians go to hell. I have heard that a pastor was in hell and asking for help to get out of there saying that "he will repay everything he has taken from the church people". All whose sins are not cleansed by the blood of Jesus on the cross have to repent and come to Him. Why shouldn't people search for the one who can love them really even with their wrong doings and can give redemption from it.
Jesus will some soon, but in God's specific time. No one wil know.

Apparently soon. some people in my church said that some of the signs are showing it to be sooner rather than later. But then does time exist in the spiritual world?
Also it bothers me (just saying from one Christian to another) your attitude about non christians burning in hell. Thats not nice, is that what Jesus would say about non christians? No he would be taking time for them, preaching to them. God loves us all and wants the non christians to believe in Him. He gives everyone a chance to come home to Him.
I was a non christian only 3 years ago and it wasnt my fault. As soon as i realised and had a revelation of who God was and what Jesus had done for us - then i became Christian immediately. I wasnt brought up in a christian home and i was never exposed to the truth until 3 years ago.
So please be less judgemental. and enjoy life while we still can! God hasnt finished with you yet!!!!!!
:) god bless

Jesus and for that matter any true saint should be grasped in the spiritual sense only. The spirit of the true saint like Jesus is always around.
World has become worse because we see the world only as physical body. We need to realise that God is spread in the sprawling universe and is in the heart of you and me alike. When you start realising that, the same this world will become livable and a better place for us.

BTW Hitler was a Christian. But, a radical one.
The three wise men saw that three stars (Suns) would align themselves with Earth appearing as one star and giving off bright light. The one over the manger where Jesus was born.
This is supposed to happen every three thousand years. Perhaps, when they align themselves again, he'll come back. Other than that it's anybody's guess.

Ka99, please do not be so ignorant as to ASSUME that this writer (though the question be Jesus-focussed) is a Christian. If you recall the event that took place in Acts 16:16-18, where Paul and Silas were travelling to the place of prayer and had a girl possessed by a demon following them for many days, whilst proclaiming, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved!" Do you then remember what happened? Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned round and said, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her. Not all truths spoken are done in true honour, and in the case of this question that we are all answering, there is an apparent blasphemy of Jesus here, by the sadistic nature of the asker's documented motives.
In the same way, I command you "John B", you blasphemer, to stop this deceiving, no matter how 'fun' you perceive it to be, IN the Mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is pretense, deceiving and immature.
The answer to your question (as I believe it to be) is found in the very words of the Lord Jesus Himself, though not exclusively from one passage. Although we DO NOT KNOW the day or hour, I believe that we can get some idea of when abouts He might come, due to the signs that the Bible speaks of.
In Matthew 24:36 Jesus says, "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
In Matthew 24:14 Jesus says, "And this GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations, and THEN the end will come." [Capitals added for emphasis] I believe that this will happen before the great and HORRIFIC signs that will "cause mens hearts to faint" (some quote from the Bible, not sure where, sorry). In my view, and there are many, AFTER this 'knowledge' is brought to the whole world, the great earthquakes and other disasterous signs will occur.
Jesus speaks a lot about the SIGNS of the 2nd coming and end of the age in Luke 21:5-36. Verse 8 starts with Jesus saying, "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and 'The time is near.' Do not follow them." And it goes on to say about other things that will happen before Jesus' return to the earth. But then in verses 25 and 26 it says, "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
Now, again, in Mark and all of chapter 13 it speaks of BOTH the coming of the end of the age and of the 2nd return of Jesus, which appear to me to be one in the same event. Here in verses 24-25 it reads (Jesus speaking and quoting Isiah 13:10 and 34:4), "...'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give it's light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'" And then he says (v. 26), "At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory."
Note: 'Son of Man' was a term Jesus often used in reference to himself.
Conclusion: We don't know know FOR SURE the exact time, or even day. Jesus WILL come back. He will come unexpectedly to many people and "like a thief in the night" will bring justice to all. If you are not with Him, you are against Him. As Jesus preached throughout his ministry, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is near."

Negative, Hitler was Christian.I like Hitler, as well as many other people I know. Jesus will return when we least expect it, and also as "a thief in the night".. it is impossible to determine these kind of questions, as well a waste of time to think about it. I believe Jesus said to concentrate on today and not tomorrow? If not it was my mother.. but who cares? It's a good message.

Only our Father knows. Incidentally, you said that there are good Christians; therefore, you must believe that there are bad Christians----what happens to them? And which category do you fall into. And what is a "good" Christian and how is he different from a "bad" Christian? Do "good" Christians desire to see people thrown into hell, or is that a belief of "bad" Christians only, because Jesus said that he desired to see no one perish, but that all come to the glory of God. So, according to you, God is capable of good love and bad love, and that God's good love is only applied to good Christians.
