I wish to buy one out of them. The exterior and interior design for both the cars seems elegent to me. However at the pice of 2nd hand lancer 2004 i've the option to buy 0 meter brand new Hyundai Accent. What do u consider should i go for brand new Hyundai or is Lancer 2004 still a reliable car and can give me a resale value better than Hyundai?

hmmm hard to say but hyundai is building a decent vehicle now. if the lancer is priced right for year im thinking it should bring you better return as most vehicle depreciat 30 to 40 % in first 3-4 yrears. Didn't think the lancer was that expensive. Make sure it is not overpriced. Add 40% to the asking pice of this one your looking at and see if that is close to its new price

Lancer really isn't much good anymore. It's okay, but not compared to the Accent. Hyundai is the new Toyota. They'll run forever, and have got the best value for the money.

There's no question, Lancer for sure. Hyundai is a good company but their cars lack the power Mitsubishi has. Both have great warantees, which is good, but if you want amazing handling and AWD power, lancer for sure
