Jesus is quoted many times in the Bible saying that a believer can ask for anything through prayer and receive it. He even goes so far as to say that mountains and trees can be thrown into the sea simply by praying for it. This is clearly a lie, and can be proven to be a lie by any believer.
And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)

Because he was a showman and a manipulator of people and words - I think he was a very bright individual that took advantage (and quite rightly so, in my humble opinion) of very simple people - a prophet or the son of God - I don't think so, although he may have convinced himself and those about him, that he was!

Just remember the blind man in the Monty Python film The Life of Brian - and what happened to him!

I suggest that you do an in-depth study of exactly what prayer really is, and not only its purpose, but also the use of it.
There are reasons why prayers are sometimes not answered, or not answered in the ways WE would like them to be.
Do you honestly believe that God would hand over to mere sinful humans the ability to start throwing mountains around...literally? Obviously NOT. Some things are not to be taken literally. Is the statement Christ made true? Yes. But what you have here is a figure of speech.

Dude come on.

You pray for the mountains to be thrown into the sea, you want Jesus to prove that he's real.

If you need proof that he's real, you're not a beliver. Jesus is not going to prove that he is real for you, and if you don't belive in him, it's your loss when time ends.

You do not belive if you need proof. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)

BELIVING you will recieve.

Jesus Christ NEVER lied, because He is incapable of lying, because he is God. And how do we know he is God?

He rose from the dead.

and how do we know there IS a God?

we dont. it's called FAITH.

You are applying something told to the apostles to everyone.... One of the key elements of CONTEXT is audience or recipient. Obviously, as others have said, you are applying the passage OUT OF CONTEXT.

Matthew 21:18 Early in the morning, Jesus was on his way back to Jerusalem. He was hungry.
19 He saw a fig tree by the road. He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Right away the tree dried up.
20 When the DISCIPLES saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree dry up so quickly?” they asked....

Jesus never lied! The mountain was not literally a mountain! Jesus spoke this way to confuse those people who were unbelievers to avoid persecution. We study the Bible and we listen to our Pastors so we understand. That mountain may be a whole lot of problems and not a mountain at all.

I am a fundie, by the standards in this section, but I do not believe that anyone needs the Bible to be a good Christian. That is, the complete Bible as we know it. Almost every word as been interpreted and mis-interpreted thousands of times.
Jesus was not a liar, but he did speak often in terms that seemed to give more power to humans then they actually have.

Jesus Christ never lied. Its the problem with us.

Can you show atleast a single person having that much faith?

I personally experience the problem. If I intent to pray for a simple thing, the next moment I ask myself, will I get answer?

This is the faith of every people.

Jesus never lied; in fact, because He is God, He is incapable of lying. He began the above statement with "if you have faith and do not doubt." Without that complete faith, the rest of it doesn't happen.

Peter walked on water as long as he kept his eyes and attention fixed on Jesus. When he began to doubt (and fear the wind), he sank.

Also, sometimes we pray for things that aren't part of God's plan, such as for the healing of someone who's ill. It's not easy but it's important to realize that God does what's best ("And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28).

The mountains Jesus are referring to means obstacles in your life that can be moved through prayer and belief. You cannot understand the Bible and its true meaning unless you are saved and filled with the Holy Spirit which gives you understanding. That is a big problem, unbelievers trying to interpret the Bible.

Jesus didn't lie. You have a poor understanding of Jesus. He always answers prayers. True, He may not answer them in the way you want, but He answers them in a way which He deems best for us. Jesus teaches in parables, and often times the message of these parables are misinterpreted and used against Him, much like what you are doing by calling Him a liar.

Matthew
24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Here is another lie from jesus as we have already shown that a world wide flood could not have happened, yet jesus clamed it did.

thumbs down or not will not change the fact that a world wide flood never happened.
