"I can not see the wind... but i know its there... i can feel it... and i see the effects of it... as do u i suppose? I can not see God Almighty... but i know He is there... I can feel Him... and I see the effects of Him at work..."

i think its a belief born from ignorance. "We cant explain it so it MUST be God..."

I think you didn't understand what he said

Seeing God's effects instead of seeing God is valid. This would actually be an analogy taken from John 3 when Jesus compared the Spirit to the wind. You can't see the wind but you can see the effects

nothing ignorant about it I think he was right on

The wind blows wherever it wishes; you hear the sound it makes, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. It is like that with everyone who is born of the Spirit."
John 3:8 (Bible- New Testament)

I dint have any proof earlier because I dint feel the Spirit at all. But lately I received God's Holy Spirit and I can feel Him and can surely tell now that God is there and that Jesus is the only way to God.

But than to hear from anyone, to talk to God and get connected to Him is the best. He is wonderful, loving, mighty and everything which no one can ever think of.

Why do you automatically call faith ignorance? Faith is a personal thing for people. Of course we can't see God. He is spirit. Faith is a spiritual journey. Like any religion, Buddhists, Hindus, Taoists, etc. Faith is having a belief and trust in God. This quote from the Christian was just a way for him/her to explain their faith because they can't see a physical God. I've heard quotes like, "God's voice is heard in whispers." and "God's voice is heard in our chidlren's voices." Or in the wind or birds. It's just a way to express one's feelings toward their faith.

If I can't explain something good, I might say it might be God. I don't always say it's God. But I do believe that everything happens for a reason. For every action there is a reaction. And just because you can't see God doesn't mean He doesn't exist.

It's an old illustration.
A little differently put, but the same .
There are tangible signs of God all around anyway.
This illus. can be used to describe emotions as well...not to mention other things.

by the same respect
many other religions would say the same of their God
so ok , I understand the analogy ... but we would have to believe the same can be said of all Gods not just one , if we wish to take the analogy as personaly proof

Christians say this a lot. Apparently they believe that if they believe something, then it must be true.

It's difficult to separate out the effects of ignorance and arrogance in that assumption, but yes, I think that ignorance plays a major role.

Going by that theory. I cannot see evolution but I can see the effects of evolution, so evolution must be how we all go here.

Wind is caused by the environment, the tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon. We can exlpain it all, so it can't be God.

Not ignorance, Wisdom, but you wouldn't know that, would you?
