Hi,
It is of course a big strain because of the long working hours, untimely breaks / schedules but at the end of the month when they pay you in a 5 digit or even 6-digit package you tend to forget all those things.

Money is such an important asset in our life. Isn't?

yes, it is true. in software devloping area, u have to work mentally ie with the brain and not with the physical body. The effort for physical body is very very less when compared to the other works. The same way the effort for the brain is very high when compared to other jobs.

You have to relax urself. if a comma or a semicolon is not there the whole program will change and it will show error.

But as per me IT field is the very easiest only when you keep urself updated with the new technology.

For programming people, they have to keep their knowledge in technology updated. They should be thorough with the codings and logics.

well, they CAN get stressful most of the times.
But it actually depends on the culture of the organization u end up working for...

I mean i've personally known a few companies who make u slog continually, all thru the week and extending through the weekends.... And i've known proper IT companies where work-life balance is treated in its true sense.

So, investigate properly upon the work-culture of the potential organization and u can do away with the stress while enjoying the kind of lifestyle IT has to offer ;)
