It's not going to hurt your hair by applying two different types of shampoo, however, what you want to look at are the types of shampoo you are using. If you have hard to control hair that tends to frizz or dry out you will want to use an extra hydrating shampoo. You will also want to monitor how much you wash your hair. Over-washing the hair can cause your hair to dry out. People with thick, dry or frizzy hair should only need to wash their hair every other day. However, what you may want to focus more on is the conditioner you are using. Biolage by Matrix makes a great Detangling solution that will slick the hair but now make it look "greasy". Also, you may want to you a small amount whip or serum on your hair once it dries to control any fly-aways (Most major brands have at least one of these in their hair care line). I hope this is helpful.

Newsflash: Shampoo is shampoo. It's not gonna hurt you at all. Oily Hair, Frizzy Hair, Normal Hair, it's all the same, unless it is medicated for something like dandruff.
Scrub away.

I don't think it's bad. I sometimes use a different shampoo and conditioner.

apply a small blob of sunsilk "leave in" conditioner, when your hair is dry. it will get rid of the frizzy look and bring out the natural curl.
