yup, CATS anyday.. dogs intimidate me..especially when they grow up and seem bigger than me!..or scarier still, when some strangers dogs runs up to you in the park and pants at 100decibles(sp?!) whilst jumping up to your chest...

I would say both, but I don't have a dog purely for logistical reasons. I have 2 cats though and even they are becoming a bit of a nightmare. We live in rented accommodation and have no cat flap, so we have to put them in kennels when we go away otherwise they wreck the house! I would get a dog if I lived back in the countryside and was at home all day.

I am a cat and a dog person. I have had dogs and cats come Thur my moms house all the time my brothers and my sister where growing up. But now we have two cats and our dog died sometime back and i told my mom i did not want another dog again.

I have both at home but I must admit that the cats are my favourite whereas my boyfriend prefers the dogs - the cats know this though and ignore him but the dogs still love me - they're a bit thick!

I love cats. I only like dogs and if I had a choice I would own a cat and not a dog.

Well I am both a cat and dog person, but I would rather have a kitten/cat over a dog just because you don't have to take them outside in the winter. unless its to the vet.

I have grown up with both cats and dogs but prefer cats as they are more independant and more loving.

We're a mixed bunch here...I love cats but my husband prefers dogs (got 2 of each) and my daughter is into ferrets!
