it would be a shame for you to have to lose her a a friend just because of the way you feel. you were honest with her and she was honest with you. nothing is going to happen so unfortunately you will have to give up. you have two choices. remain friens and hope that you can control your feelings or not be friends. good luck and i hope you two can sort this out xx

if she told you straight out that she only sees you as a good friend - then there is much you really can do except wait and hope.
be there for her as a friend and try to find a substitute in the mean time.
maybe one day her feelings will change but if she likes someone else at the moment and they end up getting together, what will you do? its only gonna hurt you.
either way, everything will fall into place so goodluck with that and I hope both you and her are happy in the end!

Awh your really sweet and i never knew many males that actually reveal their true feelings. I did the same thing with my best friend, even though he rather wanted a friendship than a relationship at the time.
He is afraid that if we did go out and break up that it would be too awkward and hard for each of us to talk to each other. I knew this is hard for you but you got to move on it is only going to eat you up inside.
This has made me and my best friend Vinny have a stronger friendship and he takes care of me when we go out. We go out everywhere together.

unfortunately she has been honest with you and as hard as it is at the moment she just wants your friendship, she cleearly values your friendship to confide in you that she likes someone else, although this was lacking in tact on her part and a bit insensitive of her, you have to decide whether friendship is enough for you, if it is then just move on the right one will come along soon enough, if you cant see beyond your feelings at the moment then just distance yourself for a while untill you feel better able to cope being around her, i know its hard right now but at least she is not misleading you, that is a recipe for a very good lasting friendship, good luck

This is tough. I'm sorry that you got kicked into the friends zone. There's really nothing that you could do right now, if the girl likes someone else. Man, you have to find someone else to give your love to. I'm sorry, but you're just gonna have to give up.

Firstly accept that you told her and she only wants your friendship. That has to be the most important thing if you have been friends until now. Imagine not having her in your life at all, at least this way you have an amazing friend.

It is a difficult situation dude. It is not like movies, that you can elope with an engaged girl. Just make yourself busy so that you dont have time to think of her.
Look for some other girl and enjoy. Don't waste time around her.
May be this troubles you, but it is for your good.

You have got to accept what she has told you - or ruin
your friendship forever.
Could you keep her just as a friend? If not you have got
to cut your ties and let her go. If she is meant for you ( I
believe in fate) she will be with you. Good Luck.

Well, you have a choice. You can sit around thinking about someone that has honestly told you that she was not interested, or you can find someone that is interested. Sometimes people find others more attractive after they have seen them enjoying themselves in the company of another.
