According to an article I read in my local paper today, it is quite toxic:
"{aspartame comsumers had} complaints of depression, hypertension, dementia, nausea, haedaches, dizziness, etc. Leading research proves this artificial sweetener is in fact poison. When it is stored for long periods of time or in warm areas, it changes to methanol - an alcohol that converts to formaldeyde or formic acid. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants and is a known carcinogen (cancer-causing agent). No wonder you get symptoms of numbness in your lungs, blurred vision, vertigo and even more symptoms opon continuous consumption of aspartame."
I hope that helps!

Aspartame isn't toxic. In enormous sufficient volume, whatever can kill you, adding average parts. When rats and mice are confirmed in laboratories, they deliver them such a lot in a short while that it would be the an identical of you ingesting 5 barrels of aspartame in a question of days. In phrases of chemical substances, the AMOUNT MATTERS. A little little bit of aspartame won't kill you, identical to slightly bleach won't kill you and slightly cleaning soap won't kill you. And severely, you are consuming booze and you are involved approximately aspartame. All righty.

Everything will kill you these days. No matter what it is someone is saying it will cause cancer, or brain tumours, or something horrible.
So if you are going to die, best enjoy life before you do.
And you need to drink a lot of drinks with aspartame for it to have an effect on your body (like 2-3litres a day)

who knows , one day something is good for you & the next day it's not, anyway...I read a report
saying that MANY people who had it ended up
very sick & in the hospital w/ kidney problems.
One lady said that once her sister stopped drinking sodas w/ aspartame she was fine
