no love of money is.
Say your prayers little one
Don't forget, my son
To include everyone
Tuck you in, warm within
Keep you free from sin
Till the sandman he comes
Sleep with one eye open
Gripping your pillow tight

No. Money might have certain connections with "evil". But everything in the world has more than one reason. People telling you there is only one reason for something are mostly simplifying or misleading.
Example: Let us say that there is a woman and she can have no children. She is so desperate, she abducts a child and tries to keep it for herself. This is an evil act, but there is no money at the root of it (and no greed either). Therefore there are examples for "evil" which are not rooting in money or greed. q.e.d.
Don't listen to standard simplifying sayings.

NO. The Bible does not say that. 1 Timothy 6:10 says that the "love" of money is the root of all evil. Money in itself is not bad. In fact, it is necessary. But when we become overly absorbed about it, and materialistic, that's when there is a problem.

No. The "LOVE of money" is the root of all evil.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

No Sir, It is the lack of money that is the root of all evil. Whether you love money and desire money or not you still need a minimum to live.

No. The Scripture says, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." If you put making money before serving God (or anything else for that matter) it becomes evil to you, for it begins to separate you from God. God always PROSPERS His children through and because of their obedience. It's not a sin to be rich or to strive for more than who you are, but when it takes away from God's purpose for you and your service to Him, it begins to be evil for you begin to love it more than you do Him. The Bible plainly states that, 'No man can serve two masters, for he would love one and hate the other."
