A&W Root Beer will ALWAYS be the best root beer in my opinion because it reminds me of the drive in hot dog stands that I used to go to as a child. We used to order hot dogs or chili dogs with french fries or onion rings and of course A&W Root Beer was the ONLY root beer that was served at these drive in's where car hops would come out to your car,take your order,and then bring your order out to your car when it was ready and put the tray on your car window that was rolled half way down.
We used to call these restaurants things like the,"Tasty Freeze,"or,"Dogs and Suds,"meaning hot dogs and root beer,etc.... Oh how I miss those days of going to a drive in and getting alot of food for a very reasonable price! ;-)

I would have to say MUG! A&W is a very close second and if I am making root beer floats I use A&W!
