Let me be very frank and unbias. Everytime i come here, i come here not to ask questions but see what others can say. As a human, my mentality wants me to defend my belief, and my comments unrealisingly become offensive to another person of another belief. Its a simple psychology. You cannot stop this. If you can, then there won't be wars, terrorism today. Identity is the root of all troubles. Like a person in a particular religion will be influenced and be propagated as such that he cannot accept anything else and naturally hits others with offensive remarks and defend themselves by saying that the others hit him first with an offensive arguement or question. Religions are organizations that preserves identity. It does not have relation to God ironically.

Having said all, i myself not a religious person. Perhaps thats why I can be unbias at least to a certain level. I don't belong to any organization. but i know that im egoistic, quite. Its another root of all troubles. Knowing is different, understanding is different.

And personally i have this habit or mindset to oppose the norm, Dun know maybe because im still young n not wise lol...so in one thread i might be dissing a particular religion because the question seems to be supporting it...in another thread i will do the opposite because now everyone else is dissing the religion. This also shows me something, there are no right or wrong answers...its all how smartly you answer.

I would never attack another belief system.

I think that most of the people here who do attack others do so because they're not used to interacting with so many non-Christians, and their Christian upbringing hasn't prepared them for those interactions. In fact, typically they've been taught all sorts of false things about others (for example, that atheism is a matter of not knowing about the Bible), so they don't have an accurate worldview from which to interact.

Different people have different reasons to do so. Some do it out of fear that their belief might be wrong so they attack the other side to prove the validity of their views. Some do it because they have been attacked and want their revenge. And still some do it just for the enjoyment they get from it. Regardless, it is just wrong but it is also a part of human nature. The best we can do is just not give into it and go about our business as usual.

Simple - because they are other peoples, organisations ideas and answers for the big questions in life alot of the time passed off as truth or at least strongly felt faith. To put it more bluntly - they don't know the answers so feel a need to fill the vacuum of not knowing the answers.

I don't need anybody elses supposition - I can make up my own theories and beliefs!

I think when I present what I believe people will take it as an attack because of exclusivity. If I say John 14:6 where Jesus says I am the Way the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father but by me., this is excluding all other ways to God and therefore though hostile by some.

My view... I think that every religion repels other religions more or less. they mght not be the way when it was started or found, but us, humans, had grown more selfish. Personally I am a free-thinker, but does not mean I am opposing all religions. I just wanna say, all religions has something in common: to be good and earn a life, or a peaceful place to go to after the current life. Y opposing each other?

I'm not opposed to Christianity - the faith. Just certain groups who try to make the rest of the world follow their nonsense

Yes, there's a motive for motive. The human brain it appears works in a different way than another creature. We believe in phrases of "if this, and if that, then end." This is known as a syllogism, and we can't get away utilizing them when you consider that our minds are tough stressed to make use of them--256 of them, not more, no much less. You can not believe external of that "field" when you consider that there is not any "external". Even in the event you arise with an most likely new suggestion that no person else has ever inspiration of, you probably did it utilizing a sequence of a few of the ones 256 syllogisms. This utilization is what we name "motive". But "rationality" is more often than not outlined as "right use" of motive, or as "sound reasoning". "Sound" approach no longer simply legitimate considering, however considering which may also be known as "real" in line with permitted standards, or earlier permitted data or truths, or of some thing which looks to be "self-obvious". Only 15 of the ones 256 syllogisms are "legitimate". Whether the legitimate argument you utilize is "sound" is one more topic. I could make a legitimate case for the lifestyles of unicorns; nevertheless it can't be a "sound" argument when you consider that they do not exist.

I'm fine with any religion until they try to force it onto you. Thats when I begin to draw the line.
