I filed my income tax return the end of February and was given an original deposit date of March 2. But, then this changed stating" Due to processing delays" with no reference code or any other message and then the date changed for two weeks later. Has anyone else originally had this date and had it changed for two weeks later? If so can you post the exact message you are getting now when you check the status? I checked today and am getting the following message...

"Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on March 23, 2007. If your refund is not credited to your account by March 28, 2007, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until March 28, 2007 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then."

But I noticed everyone else who gets there deposit usually the day to check by is a Tuesday and mine is on a Wednesday? Also there's says "it has been processed" not "it is scheduled to be deposited on"
Help?

By the sound of it Your refund should get direct deposited this Friday. The IRS does all DD on Fridays, So if your refund is going to your personal Account, your bank may show the deposit on Friday or Monday, Call your bank to find out when and how often they Post the DD's.

You will get your refund direct deposited on March 23!!! The IRS updates their website on Wednesday (not Tues) so if that happened for you today, then be glad because you have the most updated information concerning your refund! By the way, your "message status" said the exact same thing mine did (except the date) when I received my direct deposit information too. Hope that makes you feel a little better! :)

If you don’t receive your refund within 28 days from the original IRS mailing date shown on Where’s My Refund?, you can start a refund trace online.
If Where’s My Refund? shows that IRS was unable to deliver your refund, you can change your address online.
Where’s My Refund? will prompt you when these features are available for your situation.

To get to your personal refund information, be ready to enter your:

Social Security Number (or IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number)
Filing status (Single, Married Filing Joint Return, Married Filing Separate Return, Head of Household, or Qualifying Widow(er))
Exact refund amount shown on your return

the IRS will make the transfer to your bank this Friday.
It's up to your bank to put the money into your account , but should be there late Friday or sometime Monday. Your bank may "sit" on your money a couple of days to gain interest on it before they deposit it in your account. My bank can take up to five business days according to the fine print, but usually has transfers available the next business day. why not check with your bank Monday to see if your deposit is credited to your account. If not ask them to notify you as soon as it is.
