You can learn to appreciate someone on a pure intellectual level, but you cannot tell whether you share physical chemistry or not. Also there is no body language online which is apparently at least 85% or so of communication I think. So I am doubtful that you can really have a true relationship until you meet the person in real life. But you can tell whether they are an interesting person or not at least and what things you share in common. Good luck!!

Hi! It depends on what you are looking for, you will find many PICKY and unhappy people looking for the right person, specially women, it means that you may not be that one, you'll find many married men looking for adventure, be care full you might meet your neighbor, if you have trouble finding the special one in your area or you are shy, then on-line dating won't work for you, but you can try yahoo personals, spend a $40.00 membership and you could spend 3 months waiting for that special someone, you may be lucky though.

No because if you pursue a relationship on line with someone. I can guarantee you that he or she is CRAZY. Personally I would like to be able to look at that person and talk to her before I decide, if I wanna continue.

Yes they do. You need a LOTS OF TIME though. It always takes a lot more time to build up trust with someone you meet virtually than face to face.
