I am a 20 year old female. About 3 days ago,I started having back pain(upper and lower),weakness, tiredness, light headedness and headaches. You could say that I had flu symptoms. The funny thing is that there was NO fever at all and I have never felt this sick in my life, and last night I started getting this sharp crushing chest pain in my ribs and in the upper end of the sternum...could I possibly have pnemonia despite the fact that I never had a fever?..or could it be asthma?..(I do have a history of asthma, but the last time I had asthma I was a teenager)...oh and I think I've got some sputum, but I it never got out. I mean I can just feel it inside of my respiratory system, I didn't really see what it looks like.

depends on where you live. I'M NOT A DOCTOR. but you might want him to check for something we call Valley Fever in Arizona. It happens when dirt is kicked up by dust storms and a bacteria called coccidioidomycosis. I'm not a doctor but i have studied to be a respiratory therapist so =P....lol. symptoms including fatigue, cough, chest pain, fever, rash, headache and joint aches. Sometimes people develop red bumps on their skin. In about 5% of the cases, nodules develop on the lungs which might look like lung cancer in a chest x-ray. A biopsy or surgery may be necessary to determine if the nodule is a result of Valley Fever. Another 5% of people develop what is referred to as a lung cavity. This is most common with older people, and more than half of the cavities disappear after a while without treatment. If the lung cavity ruptures, however, there may be chest pain and difficulty breathing. My friend has it and she said once you get it you have it for life. But yeah go see a doctor.

You dont appear to have any respitory symptoms, so I would be inclinded to move away from a RTI. Do take the advice of these people here, and go see a doctor, as it could be quite serious.

You should never put your health in jeopardy by relying on website health advice. Seriously, go to the doctor. If you don't have health insurance, look for a free clinic. If it's really bad then go the the ER, they can't turn you away.

I think you have a psychiatric problem and have a hysterical conversion reaction. These problems appear to be psychosomatic. You know, the mind really affects the body. It is not as if you are faking. These problems really exist.
However, get your BP checked.
