i think its called a scat mat, you can get them from your local petstore, but i found with mine that i put the rubbish bin in an empty lower cupboard and it was a case of out of site, out of mind, i wish you luck xx

i dont know about the mat but when my lab was a pup he constantly raided the bin.
our vet suggested this- wrap a chilli pepper up in a bit of bread and pop it in the bin so when dog raids the bin he wont like the taste and wont raid again!!!
our lab is now 6 and has not touched a bin since that day (he was around 9 months at the time)
make sure plenty of water out to drink tho!!!

you can use something like that turned upside down with the points facing up as a mat, would be probably be cheaper and just as effective

I think you're referring to a scat mat. Most pet supply catalogs carry them.
But why not save your money and simply move the garbage can to where your dog can't get to it?

I do not know what it is called; you are the one who heard of it. I suggest you purchase on of those things, as soon as you figure out what those things are that you are talking about.

You can make your own with some barbed wire and broken glass.......I'm only joking by the way lol......good luck with finding it !
