sometimes he compares me like why can't u be like my mom. and when i got upset he just cant take it he said that why i am offense to be like his mom. it doesnt mean i dont want to be like her. she's nice. but i want him to like me the way i am.

I dated a guy like that. You can never compare to guys' mom's sometimes.

There was once a question posted on here about why guys look for a girl that is like there mom and here was the answer that I gave then.
"When I am looking for a woman who is like my mom, I just want somebody who can keep me in check. She doesn't have to clean up after me or take care of me, but just remind me every once in a while to do things. For example around the house, I don't mind doing dishes, cleaning, laundry, but I don't get up and do it on my own without being asked. Its not that I'm lazy but just not motivated. But if a woman asks me to do any of those things I will do them. She doesn't have to be bossy about it, and I would expect her to help out with those things.
Dating and sex-wise though, I do not want a girl who is like my mom. I want a girl who is going to compliment my personality. "
So your guy probably sees some qualities or areas where you are lacking in that he would like to see more in you. But you are right, he should like you for who you are and not for who you are capable of being.

I can see where you're coming from. The next time he said that let him know that you agree that his mom is excellent and make a role-model. However, he needs to accept you as who you are and not what he wants you to be.

you are right, you are your own person. his mum might be good but you should not try to be like her. watch out! if you are planning the long haul for this guy, start acting like his mum, that way you have a big chance of a happy relationship (at least to his liking) , if not, act as yourself & let him accept u for who you are or be prepared to be dump. or another choice, play it like mum & be miserable. goodluck!

Ask him if he want's to be like his mom in bed, if he say yes, he's gay, which is cool, but I think you should move on to your next victim.

you are right. why would you want to be like his mom? you have your own qualities and i think they are also admirable. fight for yourself. you don't have to live in the shadow of someone. if he insists on you being like his mom, leave him. you can never be like anyone else except yourself. think about it.
