I can't find anything on the Internet to support this claim other than Japanese birth rates declining. What kind of comment is this and does it have any validity?

Who says its taboo. Have you been to asia? I doubt it.
In japan sex is huge and the sex drive of both sexes are high. In public they sell sexual themed items in vending machines.
In southern regions there are tons of brothels red-light district areas. Much more open about sex than other countries. In asia they have girls dressed in bikini's selling items on the street.
Obviously many of these answers are stereotypical answers with no truth to it. In fact if anything asia is way more open about sex than the USA.
I've lived in both locations so I know. And I've traveled throughout asia. And I know asian women don't have higher or lower sex drive. It depends on the girl, not the country she is from. Some countries may condone it or encourage it, but that is all. Some countries are more public about it than others. But just because one country isn't public about it... doesn't mean the girls have a lower sex drive.
The reason Japan is having a decreasing birth rate is because the new generations don't want kids and want to live their own lives without having to raise a family. China has a decreasing birth rate because of the 1 child policy. Before stating facts learn the true reason behind them.

Generalising woman is too easy. Some woman have got on and others have used their gender to stay (sure you can work this sentence out). Anyway at some point in a persons life they will feel or even be weaker (man or woman). Some people will try to make the other feel weaker because they haven't really got the mental or physical stamina of the other person and they want to be dominant at any cost. No one deserves to be the victim, but some people like labels.

Declining birth rate is a result of population control measures, not because of weaker sex drives in women. Sex drive has nothing to do with region, race and religion.

There is no proof for your statement. Asian women also have the same sex drive, but the society puts a lot of restrictions on the asian women, which does not exist in europe or america. They appear to be clean and sexless and chaste, to satisfy the society, but inwardly, they have just the same drive. Sometimes they have to suppress the drive because they do not enjoy the freedom that america offers, and they also do not have economic freedom, they have to depend on their father and then on their husbands and lastly on their sons.

Japanese birth rates might be declining because of birth-control methods adopted and interventions to curb population growth.

I'm engaged to a Filipina. She is a nymphomaniac.
I am happy with once a day...sometimes twice.

no true the Asian population is high then the USA. or any other country as far as i know. but then again why cant they have a low sex drive. most women and men have low sex drives just depends on the person. :)

No validity... There are women with weak sex drives all over the world. Anyway sex drives does not depend on race or continents... It all depends on who her sexual partner is and also the sexual behavior around her.
