Ages ago when I got my first cdr drive it came with software that could convert a cdr into a cdrw, can't remember the name for the life of me. What burning program can do that now?

Nah this was a real deal, it ate up like 80 megs of space to convert it.

Maybe i'm remembering part of the process wrong. I ran this program, one of the options was to convert the CDR to CDRW(maybe I'm wrong), which I could then record stuff from my computer on, take it to my friends computer, add and remove things like a CDRW from his computer. He did the same with his drive after I gave him the software. Maybe it wasn't really a cdrw but it sure acted like one on every cdrw drive I took it to.

yeah it was long ago when my 8x4x2 was top of the line and before the term mp3 made it into mainstream culture.
