Have to go there several times a year for many years, if possible, I'll go early in the morning and leave in the afternoon or late evening.

Nothing there attracts my interests, not the culture, shopping or people.

Sorry, not intend to offend but just only my impression and own opinion, don't take it as standard. Surprisingly, my Singaporean friends and counterparts, when asked, agree with what I say. ???

Love it.

Lived there for 2 years.

Amazing school, even more amazing shopping (would go to the mall after school, that's how close it was), fabulous transportation (I now live in a place with no taxis or buses to take me anywhere, and I can't drive yet!), they even have the best restaurants (Underground buffet, rotating restaurant on top of a hotel)

I have been to Singapore. It is a very orderly, highly regulated country that finally let gum chewing (was not allowed) run mainly by people of Chinese Descent who had broken off from Malaysia. It is a city/country which has many areas for shopping. Their Chinatown is very vibrant and the food stalls are very clean and orderly where you can get wonderful food! The people there are a hodgepodge of international individuals who speak English the most (but with a mix of the local vernacular--Singlish).

it is a good place and i go there almost yearly for both business and pleasure. the country has progressed that the yuppies seem to be snobbish but they're practically just preoccupied by the byproduct of progress called technology that make them seem unnerved and unnerving but the older generation still retain the human touch

It is city state where the local laws are quite strict that I would say, they have an artificial democracy.

Place where the Chinese speaks better English than the English!

Of course. It is my home, I live here.

It's a small country but very prosperous. Multi-cultural. Melting pot of cultures from west and the east. Very strict laws.
