I am really feelin this guy and from what he is sayin he is really feelin me but I am going to wait a while before I have sex with him b/c thay is somethin I want to do and I want him to respect me and as well as respecting myself. Would you respect a woman that had sex with you after a month? 2 weeks? how much would you respect her? How long of a wait? No wait until you married answers plz I know that is best but not really reality.

Hahaha first off no guy wants to wait, but you're looking for respect which is a classy thing in today's world, so after one or two opportunities have passed where he's been told no I want to be respected, then I'd say you're in good shape. Either A) he'll instantly respect you for wanting to do that so you won't have to wait too long or B) he'll prove he was just trying to play you and be gone at the first sign of having to wait.

Every different situation should be judged on it's individual merits. If you like the guy and he really likes you, not just the booty on offer then there isn't really a waiting period for this sort of thing. If however you believe his intentions aren't the most honourable then by all means keep him waiting until you see through his modus operandai. If you just want some sex for the sake of it then hell girl get in there and get some!! It is up to you and whatever you choose, it won't be the end of the world. As for thinking you are easy...... do you wanna give it up to a guy that is that going to judge you based on someone elses' opinion not his own???

I would think that any guy who can't wait until you are totally ready doesn't respect you. So even if you should wait for 6 months, 1 year or until marriage he should, if he really loves you and respects you, will wait. Build your relationship on mutual respect and friendship rather than sex. As they say "later will be greater".

It isn't a matter of time, Rae, it's a matter of trust. Is he mature enough to respect what you are entrusting to him if you have sex with him? Don't ask him, use your intuition to answer that. Sex is a very misunderstood subject, due to religious, and because of that, social confusion about when and with whom. Many divorces and marital problems arise through sexual incompatibility, and my personal belief is that you have to 'try before you buy'. Your whole future relies on whether you can communicate at the most personal level.
So if you think he will respect you, go with him, and learn what he's really like. Just don't promise eternal devotion until you're prepared to give it.

I think a girl should wait atleast one month - depends on how often you see ea other tho, say you see ea other everyday - well that would be too long, you will know when you are ready and because you are so up for the respect - why dont you forget it and wait until he asks you? Then perhaps refuse that time and say you want it to be extreemly special and plan it together?

Alright this is my personal feelings on the matter. If a girl makes me wait that is fine 'cause if she gave it up to quick I would be afraid of her having something. I say you should wait if not for the simple reason when you actually do do it. It will be better. It is the anticipation that makes the moment that much better. Mind you this is just my opinion.

I try to respect every woman, regardless of whether i want to sleep with her or not. I think you should wait until you feel ready to take it to that level. Ask yourself if you'd feel comfortable raising a child with this guy.

Until you get to the point that you are comfortable with each other and understand well enough that you decidin to have sex with him isnt just booty call.
