16th c. French surname that sounds like 'Quebeaux'...?

I am looking for as many different spellings as I can for the above name. I have yet to find a french surname from that time period that starts with a 'q'. So it must have been spelled differently.

Phonetically: Kwa-bow

The nearest family name I can find is Quibodeaux.
