My ex-bf and I have broke up for 1 month plus after 7 months of courtship. He said that I am not giving him any space and he feel suffocated. We have broken up and get back many times but I believed this is the last straw. Cos after compromising to him alot of times, he still has no intention to get back with me. He said that he enjoy being single and do all the things which he like. Nevertheless, he still answer my calls and go out with me occasionally. I really love him and want to be with him. What should I do to bring back our relationship? He will be leaving the country in 2 weeks time for business trip and would only be back 2 months later. I want to get back with him before he leave. Right now, I have already stopped interferring with his life. But I feel that no matter what I do, he will not be moved. Please advise.

Sounds like he wants to be single for this trip so he can do what he wants to do without having to answer to you or anyone else. I say don't call him at all just let him go period, cause either way he is going to do what he wants to do whether you like it or not.At least this way he won't actually be cheating on you, if you get back together before he leaves you are going to be upset the whole time he is gone. This way you don't have any right to say anything. Even though you will probably want to say something , just let it go, let him go, leave him alone the way you are doing he doesn't even have a chance to miss you.

Before you go any further you need to explore why you're not able to give him space and continue to suffocate him no matter how many times you go back and forth together. You're not a child if you have a boyfriend who is going on business trips. You're a grown woman who for whatever reason seems to be a bit insecure in her relationship.

Relationship don't work if you don't have a life of your own. You must have separate interests so your emotions don't get the best of you and your world begins to revolve around your significant other.

It sounds as if he's given you many chances but you exhibit the same behavior that turns him off and so he continues to push himself away from you. You really can't blame him and you can't change yourself overnight either.

Take the time he's away for two months to chill out and actually miss you. Chances are if he's going away for two months he will develop some sort of social life, he's single. So he will date other girls. So don't set yourself up to be disappointed. Take the time to date other guys as well. It wouldn't hurt. Best case scenario he misses the heck out of you and comes back renewed and ready to start again or you actually meet someone else who enjoys that extra bit of attention.

Well this is a tough one, my friend has just been through a very similar thing. She truly loved him but he didnt want her back because she was too clingy. I dont think theres anything you can do just tell him exactly how you feel and that you would do anything to have him back. I really hope it works out, good luck!

what's the rush?....why put a deadline on you two getting back together?
If the two of you are really true love be it 2 weeks or 2 months nothing will stand between the two of you.....including time

well all i can say is that if you were supposed to be together, you'd be together. People are brought into our life to teach us something and when that lesson is taught, they, in one way or another, leave. But if you really want to get back with a guy who DOESN'T want you....go ahead

Don't give up hope, and don't listen to anyone who tells you to move on or just forget about him - you can get him back!

Here's a page with some useful tips:

The main thing is not to give up - if you really want him back, you can do it.

Good luck!
