The best way is to eat 6 small but balanced meals to provide a caloric deficit while keeping out of starvation mode. Your carbs should be high fiber and your protein sources should be lean.

Your exercise program should include primarily weightlifting to increase your lean mass to burn extra calories 24 hours per day. Cardio is also good.

Also, use a measuring tape instead of a scale to monitor your progress. How well your clothes fit is determined by inches or centimeters not lbs or kilograms.

June 22nd is like 3 months from today.. And hell yeah, thats more than enough time to get yourself into shape.. Commitment is very important.

Your first goal should be fat loss, not toning, because fat loss gradually tones you up when done the right way.

And from my own experience I can say is to eat 6 to 8 meals a day of 350 calories including lean protein in every meal. Protein is very important.

Next, you need to workout twice a day for two weeks for instant results and then the next week with one workout a day. Repeat this cycle.. This is a long advice, but for a sample plan and sample workout with additional rules, visit the site below. A whole article with diet plan and workuot video.

Why is everybody so obsessed with proms?
Why should you lose weight and tone up for a stupid prom? Why don't you take care of your body every day?

But yeah, you can do it. Don't starve yourself, though. Eat 5-6 balanced meals a day (thins means you have to eat good proteins and carbohydrates, and a little fat too).
Exercise for 30 minutes, every other day.

Good luck!

It can easily happen by June2. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. You can force your body to lose weight with not enough calories, but if you continue it, you will starve to death. With an abundance of healthy foods, you lose weight just as fast, but only until you reach your ideal weight. You can continue eating this way the rest of your life and always be at your ideal weight.
