1)Drug induced bliss is a temporary one but religion bliss u can carry all the time.
2)Drug induced bliss affects your body in a bad way at the end while religion induced bliss affects ur whole body including your mind in a positive way.

Religious bliss is perennial. Drug induced bliss evaporates easily hence there is addiction, Also it spoils the nervous system, brain system etc. Whereas religious bliss in meditation or samadhi brings in you a supreme joy which no words can describe. It rejuvenate the entire body, nerves, brain etc and you feel elated even after a meditation induced samadhi. But in drugs, you feel very weak after coming out of it. nagarajan.(Choose wisely)

I have been experimenting with weed to answer that question myself. I have had some real Epiphanies. The problem is that after I eat a bunch of chocolate I can't remember.
Let's see both can be addicting (chocolate too but that is another comparison). The spiritual high is longer lasting, free and has no long term negative side effects. I think maybe people use a chemical to try to recreate the high on life that God offers us.

Theres nothing bliss about drugs its only temporary. Drugs will always leave you and JESUS will never leave you no matter what. Amen.

the religion hang over is much worse than the dope hang over.
Note that an excess of either one will kill you.
