Gee, Erudite, it's funny but . . . all of the guys I know who have been over there have VOLUNTEERED to go back multiple times. Funny, doesn't sound like they're crying all that hard to me.

We had one young man in my church killed over there -- on his THIRD TOUR.

So how 'bout you stop your campaign of lies and disinformation?

Not a clue because when I was over in Iraq I never heard of or saw a Marine or solider cry because they wanted to come home. Perhaps you cried all the time when you allegedly were in the military and you think everyone else is a wimp too. And they have known the truth about the war in Iraq since prior to their deployment. The difference is that they actually know the truth...while you only think you do.......pity.

The military people that I have spoken to all have been supportive of the US actions in Iraq. I have not met a single one who speaks otherwise.

Sure, there's an occasional one on the news, but they are usually standing alone.

But... since you're an expert, what is the "truth" about the war in Iraq?

Soldiers do as they are told, that doesn't mean they don't miss their families and loved ones. Soldiers do not have to agree that the war is righteous, they do their jobs and deserve all the respect in the world. I've been there and I know what they face. When I was there I wanted to come home but I did my job just as these fine men and women are doing theirs. Do not blame the troops blame the politicians who put them in harms way.

All I can say if you are a reservist like me and in September you were taking your final classes for college graduation and in November you are in Iraq running into bunkers during mortar attacks and reporting attacks on the LSA, it is easy to get stressed out. We are all human .

Maybe they're battle weary because scrubs like you are too cowardly to go help them. Marines and Army men crying to come home. Yeah, and Arnold the pig just sprouted wings, strapped on some sidewinders and flew over to Iraq. You are a piece of work.

nobody wants to be in their situation really. the war is not over...nobody knows when its going to be over. i have friends who are in iraq right now. i also have friends who just came back from iraq. its hard being away from home. its hard being away from their loved ones. being shot at out of no where...to stay alive and come home is their goal everyday. i don't know about you but worrying about my life and how my loved ones are doing...if i'll ever see them again is a concept i can't seem to grasp. i love CJ's answer.

I know military personnel in Iraq. You are wrong with your question because they are dedicated to a noble cause of a free Iraq.
