seriously. yes its an "epidemic" but is it a disease?

if not, than couldn't we reason that there should be NO reason that a person should be obese, despite predisposition from parents?

Obesity and Alcoholism are the only two self inflicted things that we as people do to ourselves, and yet to avoid being responsible for our actions, we label them a disease. Let's be honest, it is a self inflicted problem that we have done to OURSELVES and WE are RESPONSIBLE for what has happened.

No, it's simple. If you burn all the calories you eat you won't get fat. Either exercise more or eat less.
