It is contingent upon whether the cough drop was buried in high pressure ground for a long enough duration to turn it to a stone hard object whether it melts or stays intact. Either way, you can't get any physical damage from a cough drop.

Oh it's probably alreadt dissolved by now. It was just a cough drop. But you were lucky to not choke to death on it. You'll be fine.

I dont think so, I mean people swallow gum all the time and i would think thats worse becuase its sticky, but if you feel nervous call any pharmacy and im sure they can answer that
