Some cats are just very chatty, and some hardly meow at all. You just happened to get a talker.

My cat started to do the same thing a month ago. He use to meow at EVERYTHING. I also gave him attention, so was a little concerned but now ive brought home a new pet and he seems to play with him a lot. He has stopped meowing. Maybe hes just lonely and all the love and attention a human gives maybe isnt the same. Hes neutered so i dont think he was in the mood for..... i just think he was lonely and neede a friend. By the way my new pet isnt a another cat its a hamster.

Do you talk to her a lot? I read somewhere that the more you talk to yor cat, the more they will talk to you. My cat likes to go outside sometimes, (like every day) and if she is meowing outside, I have her come in. She follows me when I get up to go to the other room, rubs against my legs when I'm in the kitchen, she wants my undivided atteniton. Is there any way that you could get her a sister, or brother cat? Of course, I would hope and trust you would have them both fixed before bringing them together. Do you have food and fresh water down for her 24/7? I do for my cat. She knows when she is hungry/thirsty. And, I keep the litter box cleaned out by frequently going thru it every day/night when I'm up, 'cause I know cats also like clean litter boxes. The only other thing I could think it could be, is if she isn't fixed already, she might be in het, but if she was, she would be doing some strange moves, and wanting to go outside all the time. Take care.

My cat is doing the extact same thing lately, probally because she wants to go outside. She was on obsessive compulsive disorder tablets at one stage she kept licking out her fur. make sure your cat doesnt do that, keep an eye on it. She meeeoows all day and driving everyone mad, we have a dog too so if you have just got another dog or cat she could be just seeking attention.

is she deaf or white, my cat is deaf and she meows all the time cause she cant hear herself, if hse is justa kitten it is what they do, they are just getting use to the sound of there voices, be patient, a firm tap on the nose when she does is should be enough to help her reaslise she is being anouying, dont yell at her or hurt her though she might get reluctant to be near you.

As long as she's not hungry, I think she just wants attention. Be sure to pick her up at least once a day, and change her water once a day.

i love when my cat meows its so sweet and fat I lay my head on her belly and go to sleep anyway your cat does that because it wants you to stay , not move or take your attention away from the cat .

Is she speyed? If not she might be on heat and this could be the cause, having her altered will sort that out.
It's possible she's just a chatty cathy, or she might experience seperation anxiety when you leave?
