I have contacted the police once and they will do nothing cause she seems to always get the one officer that she was sleeping with for a while ago in volved and so its always ok. to them and the father has tried to get her and has her every other weekend,i've had her once and she brought the police to my house at 2am to pick up the child well i was at work. so as you can see law in forcment isn't quit right in michigan. but calling Cps won't help much either cause she lies and says that the child is in child care and everyone of my are family members know's she isn't as well as the nabors where she lives. so that is why i am seeking advice.

"..the first day her mother took her back from me"? The Bible talks about Father's rights. Even when KJV shows the word "parents" it comes from the father word not a parent or mother word. Where is daddy? Research what you might do to assist him.

Unfortunately, when the safety and well being of a child is at stake, the decisions are never easy. If she is a relative, perhaps you can offer to keep the child for a while to allow the mother some down time. Please keep in mind that the child's welfare is most important. If you cannot get the child and care for her, then you must put aside your fear of not seeing the child for the sake of the child. People take children for granted far too often. I tried for 17 years and three invitro cycles later, I have a wonderful 6 year old. I treasure her and each child deserves to be loved, cared for and have a belief of self value. Please think hard--for her sake.

Put your feelings aside , it is only the child that matters here! You must contact authorities on behalf of the child. Your name should not be revealed to the parents. Maybe you could apply to be a foster parent for this child? Please ,do not wait! Get the help that this child needs. Child services will look into the matter and make a judgment as to her well being. Can't you petition the court to stay in touch with the children you lost contact with.? These state run associations really only want what is best for the children. If one court said no to visits.. keep trying. You know in your heart what is the right thing to do...now find the inner strength to do it.
'Its Not Enough'
Its not enough to have a dream
unless I plan to pursue it,
Its not enough to know the truth
unless I care enough to live it.
Its not enough to join a crowd, to be included and accepted,
I must be true to my ideals, even if I'm excluded and rejected.
Its not enough to know what's right
unless I m' strong enough to do it.
Its not enough to reach for love, unless I care enough to give it.

.honestly this world is shockin i do understand your concern and if you were as concerned as you make out you would have already rang child services and you would have been on here asking a different question regarding guilt maybe for having the child removed and before you do come back and ask that question here is your answer there is no guilt where children are at harm guilt should be for the mother for letting it get to that point without asking for help

Well, if she is related to you, you could call law enforcement and then when she is taken from them, you could petition the courts for custody. You could also become a certified foster parent and then envolve child services. When they take her, you could tell them you want to be her foster parent. But think of the consequences if you do nothing. She could be raped, kidnaped or even worse, killed, in which case you would never get to see her again. Please don't just sit back and do nothing. The three year old can do nothing to protect herself or change the situation, but you can!!!

Call the police and make them atleast aware of the situation. They or you should also contact child protective services.

best of luck to you!

The correct thing to do for the children's sake is get the police involved before something worse happens. What they do is not a reflection on you. It is dangerous to leave little kids alone.
