sounds pretty damn nasty to me. I'd rather just have some plain red wine reduction with the sauteed mushrooms, and a little demi thrown in there.

Sounds YUMMY! but, leave out the sesame seeds, they'd be too crunchy and do not go well with steak. But all the rest sounds wonderful!

i read the question but with this answer mmmaybe not but to refine it, perhaps just mix your wine, soy sauce with mustard seed or allspice, no sesame seeds and cottage cheese instead

If you saute the mushrooms, then add everything else...then yes, it sounds like it would work really well on steak!
