1. be determined to get good grades.
2. make friends with the studious students.
3. join their study group and ask for tips.
4. observe their study techniques and follow suit.
5. pay attention during class, don't play truant, and ask if you don't know.
6. set aside time to do your homework daily. maybe it'ld help you if you gave yourself a timed reward system. eg, cannot go out/watch tv/play com games until you finish your work. or finish your work in 2 hrs and you get to do your favorite hobby.
7. set an achievable target for yourself. eg, this semester i want all my subjects to be B- minimum.

"sounds" simple, but requires lots of self-discipline. gd luck and study harder :)

well maybe just study a little extra like half an hour more each night, even that much helps!(Well, I'm guessing your in high school, but I wouldn't know how hard it is up there, well I'm in Grade 5)
